| Remarks: |
Dean: Save your money. This movie sucked ass.
Lyn: I wouldn't say it sucked ass, but it wasn't exactly super great.
It did take you into a believable era and was incredibly but briefly gory in parts, which I feel was somewhat detracting, or maybe the right word is unsettling, which would then constitue a success - I felt it was mismatched with the tone.
There was some plot funniness... like the leading lady who is eternally on a train back and forth to London. The story has some interesting twists, unfortunately none too surprising.
That being said, the movie makers handled the Wolfman legacy with respect and paid a great amount of attention to detail - the set and costumes were phenomenal, the make-up a bit heavy at times (which can completely ruin a movie for me as a constant reminder of the fourth wall - see Cary Elwes in Saw).
Not the worst remake I've seen.

| Spoilers: | (Select the text below to read it) I did get one chuckle - when we see the wolfman change
from human to wolf while running in the forest, he looks exactly
like Rob Schneider in The Animal. |
